Ellena Little,

Executive Director

Ellena’s involvement with Club Esteem began in 1994 as a volunteer mentor and performing arts teacher. Several years later, Ellena joined the staff of Club Esteem and served as Activities Director, Program Director, and Assistant Director.

As the  Executive Director, Ellena is responsible for the development and implementation of Club Esteem programs and curriculum, determining and addressing the ongoing needs/interests of Club  Esteem’s youth and their families, and developing and implementing systems for family and community involvement.

Ellena has twenty years of experience working with youth and families as a certified child development teacher, Bible school teacher, ordained youth minister and counselor, curriculum writer, and certified fitness instructor- which she continues to teach at local community centers. Ellena stayed in touch with the needs of the community as a reporter and newscaster, during an internship at WUCF. This was the beginning of a seven year tenure as an on-air personality/deejay and youth talk show host in the Central Florida area, where she also served as a columnist for the Central Florida Times and a valuable member of The Central Florida Broadcasters Association.

Ellena has an extensive professional theatrical background, as a former actress for the Florida Art Ensemble, receiving her Associates Arts degree with an emphasis in Children’s Theatre, and continuing her education in Organizational Communication and Radio/TV at the University of Central Florida. Ellena continues her love for theatre through teaching the children of Club Esteem dramatic arts.  Her work can frequently be seen on the stage. As a native of Melbourne/Palm Bay, Ellena is intimately connected to the needs of Club Esteem’s children, their families, and the community.  Ellena can be reached by email at  This email address is being protected from spambots.
